WHAT IS ADVENTURE CHALLENGE CAMP?

Want Something Challenging To Do This Summer?
Then Take the L.E.A.P. Outdoor Adventure Challenge 2008! This is a new and exciting program especially designed for 4-H and non 4-Hers ages 14-18 who possess an adventurous spirit, enjoy the outdoors, and are up for a challenge!

What Will We Be Doing?

Explorers will be able to travel and fish the watershed of the Rio Frio. Various aquatic habitats and organisms will be studied and a variety of fishing techniques will be used. Explorers will also learn and practice basic outdoor and camping skills.

The 1st camp for ages 14 - 18 begins on Sunday, June 1 at the Texas 4-H Conference Center in Brownwood. The 2nd camp for ages 9-14 begins on Sunday June 8, 2008. Plan to arrive between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. and have already eaten dinner. Lodging will be in the dorms, bring your own linens!!! A detailed packing list will be provided at a later date.

On Tuesday, the group will depart for the Rio Frio. The group returns to the 4-H Conference Center Saturday morning and participants are to be picked up by noon.

REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy -- Registration on 4-H Connect requires a non-refundable deposit and a second payment of the balance. Only this portion will be refunded and only if cancellation is received, in writing, within seven (7) days of the start of camp.
