REGISTRATION INFORMATION

An inclusive camp for youth with and without disabilities.

WHAT IS MISSION POSSIBLE CAMP?

For thirty years, the Texas 4-H Conference Center has provided camping experiences for youth ages 9 through 18. Operated by Texas AgriLife Extension Service, a part of the Texas A&M University System, the purpose of Texas 4-H Conference Center camp programs is to help each and every camper achieve his or her full potential in the areas of mental development, physical well being and social development while also providing lots of fun and excitement in a safe, wholesome environment.

Mission Possible, June 25-27, 2008, promotes the involvement of all youth. We invite youth who are physically or learning disabled, or developmentally delayed to participate in this unique summer residential camping program. The focus will be on each campers’ Abilities and not their disAbilities. Participants will be encouraged to recognize their individual abilities and their own limitations while participating in a safe and fun environment — the great outdoors! Campers have the chance to participate in all activities and the opportunity for personal and social growth as they interact with others in a close-knit camp community.
